JAKARTA – For culinary lovers typical of West Java, restaurants d’Suhah da pepper in South Jakarta can be an interesting choice. In addition to serving a variety of typical Sundanese dishes with savory and spicy flavors, this restaurant also has a unique menu, one of which is “Chicken Ngumpet”.
The restaurant, located on Jalan Bumi, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, is the first branch outside its center in Lembang, West Java, which has been established since 2009.
One of the mainstay menus here is ngumpet chicken, which is a whole native chicken that can be served fried or grilled. Called “hide -up” because this chicken is almost invisible when served, covered with piles of orange leaves, chubby, as well as chili and herbs that provide a distinctive taste of savory, spicy, and soft chicken texture.
In addition to the ngumpet chicken, there is also a maranggi satay, which is suitable for enthusiasts of sweet and savory taste. This satay uses large pieces of meat with a combination of soy sauce, brown sugar, and jando which adds to the delicacy in each stick.
The restaurant owner, Lilis, started this business from a hobby of cooking. Thanks to the traditional recipe that continues to be developed, now D’AHAH DA PEPA is a favorite culinary place with many fans.
