Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno Seriously attract Singapore tourists. Sandi convinced Singapore Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung that Pandemi Covid-19 in Indonesia was handled well and stable security conditions.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno during his working visit to Singapore scheduled a special meeting with the Minister of Health Singapore Ong Ye Kung in a different atmosphere of breakfast together at Tanamera Coffee Indonesia in Singapore, Wednesday (1/6). Both of them eat chicken porridge while enjoying the original Indonesian coffee which is marketed at the coffee shop located on the edge of the Singapore River.
“We talked about the Covid-19 policy in two countries, economic recovery and the handling of Covid-19 which were getting better and we have opened borders, to restore the economy and open jobs,” said Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno.

Menparekraf Sandiaga is not alone. He was accompanied by a spokesman for the Covid-19 Task Force Prof. Wiku Adisasmito.
Sandi said that the policy related to Covid-19 in Indonesia has been increasingly adaptive for travel perpetrators from abroad including tourists. A number of tightening policies including PCR or antigen tests for tourists to Indonesia are also not applied for tourists who have received full vaccination.
Sandiaga and Ong Ye Kung also discussed the possibility of cooperation in the sports tourism event namely Marathon and Singapore Minister of Health Plan Ong Ye Kung to Indonesia attended the G20 event in Bali and then to Papua.
“We have an appointment to dive together in Raja Ampat,” said Sandiaga Uno.
Singapore Minister of Health Ong Ye Kung said that over the past two years there have been various policy tightening, including travel restrictions that have an impact on the tourism sector. He was happy that at this time the condition of Pandemi was stable to improve.
“We really hope that the Indonesian government will continue its efforts to handle the Pandemi Covid-19 situation and keep everything stable. Together with Singapore and other ASEAN countries, Southeast Asia as an attractive destination as a region destination,” said Ong Ye Kung.
He saw Indonesia as a very interesting country with 17,000 islands that there were so many places visited.
Indonesian culinary, including the coffee, is also increasingly popular in Singapore including various types of coffee sold in Tanamera Coffee Indonesia.
“I think coffee here is a blend or a mixture of many types of Indonesian coffee,” said Ong Ye Kung.
