Fresh Fruit Ice Recipes Without Milk and Syrup for Breaking Fasting


KOMPAS.com – This fresh fruit ice is known as old school fruit ice. You don’t need to add milk or colored syrup.

Only requires three types of fruit and sugar syrup (Simple syrup) to make fresh fruit ice.

You can replace papaya, melons, and watermelons with other fruits as you wish.

Follow fresh fruit ice recipes for six servings from the book “35 Sisca Soewitomo-Kolak and Mixed Ice Recipes“(2008) by Sisca Soewitomo published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama below.

Material:

  • 300 grams of papaya
  • 300 grams of melon
  • 300 grams of watermelon
  • Sugar syrup ingredients:
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 50 ml of water
  • 1 lemon, squeeze the water

How to make fresh fruit ice

1. Cut papaya, melon, and watermelon with a small round fruit cutting tool. Store in the refrigerator.

2. Make syrup by boiling sugar, water, and lemon juice until thickened. Lift and chill. Store in the refrigerator.

3. After the fruit and syrup cold, mix, and stir well. Prepare a glass, pour into it and serve cold.
