KOMPAS.com – Red or purple sweet potatoes can be processed into a suitable dessert served during the month of Ramadan.
You can make salak seeds consisting of red cassava, starch, brown sugar, sugar, pandan leaves, and salt.
Salak seeds are doused with savory coconut milk sauce, you can make it with purple sweet potatoes if there is no red sweet potato.

Material:
- 500 grams of red sweet potatoes, peeled, steamed
- 225 grams of starch
- 250 grams of brown sugar, sliced
- 100 grams of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 pandanus leaves
- 1.2 liters of water
Santan Sauce:
- 250 ml of thick coconut milk
- 1 pandanus leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
