The Koran is a guide to life for Muslims. In it there is a lot of important information, including food that turns out to be rich in nutrition and healthy if consumed.
The Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet can be used as a guide in choosing food for Muslims. There are some foods mentioned in the Koran other than dates. This list of foods is believed to be healthy.
The Koran itself is known to have many names. One of them is Ash-Syifa which means healing. A number of verses of the scriptures also provide knowledge about natural medicine that can be consumed by Muslims.

1. Banana

“And the righteous people, how lucky they are! They are in the middle of the prickly bidara trees, banana clumps, extensive shade, flowing water, abundant fruits that have never been not in the season and are not forbidden.” (QS Al Waqiah: 27-33)
Quoting The Healthy Muslim page, in general the Qur’an mentions the fruits eaten by the residents of heaven. Bananas are one of them.
Bananas themselves are good intake for breakfast and snacks because they contain potassium and vitamin B6. Potassium is important for fluid balance and nerve function, as well as keeping the muscles and bones working well.
While vitamin B6 is needed for amino acid synthesis to improve protein function in the body.
2. Olive
“Similarly, olive trees that grow on Mount Sinai that produce oil and seasoning to eat.” (QS Al Mu’minun: 20)
Olive oil is a good source of fat. However, olives are also something that cannot be missed.
Olives have essential fatty acids that are beneficial for heart and brain function. Olive also contains polyphenols, antioxidant compounds that can ward off various types of diseases.
3. Pomegranate

“Both of them will be fruits, date palm trees, and pomegranate trees.” (QS Ar-Rahman: 68)
Pomegranate contains many vitamin C which is important for the immune function. In addition, vitamin C also plays a role in the formation of collagen to maintain muscles, bones, and skin.
Instead of in the form of juice, you are advised to consume pomegranates in full form. In this way, you can get lots of vitamin C and fiber.
4. Wine
“With the flood, we grow for you dates and grapes; inside there are many fruits and some of them can be eaten.” (QS Al Mu’minun: 19-20)
Wine is very popular because of its high antioxidant content. Wine contains flavonoids which are proven to be beneficial in counteracting oxidative damage, which is the cause of many chronic diseases.
5. Ara

“For the sake of figs and olives.” (QS AT-TIN: 1)
Figs contain lots of fiber that helps to keep blood sugar and cholesterol levels healthy. Ara also contains magnesium, minerals that play an important role for bone health.
Figs are usually consumed in a dry state. However, be careful with the sugar content.
6. Honey
“And your Lord has given a revelation to the bees, ‘make it for you houses, trees, and what is built by mountains, then eat from the fruits of everything, and obey the path that your Lord has determined. [madu] The various colors, inside there are drugs that heal for humans. Actually that is really a sign [kekuasaan Allah] for those who think. “(QS An-Nahl: 68-69)
It’s no secret, honey is believed to have many health benefits. Honey contains fiber, protein, potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, to vitamin C.
