KOMPAS.com – Recipe for green bean porridge can be tried at home, especially if you want to eat a simple iftar menu that is soupy but still filling.
Prepare ingredients a few hours before breaking the fast, especially green beans that should be soaked in water first.

Green bean porridge recipe
Material:
- 250 grams of green beans (washing, soak for about four hours or overnight)
- 750 milliliters of water (to soak and boil green beans)
- 3 pandan leaves (make a knot)
- 200 grams of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Coconut milk sauce material:
- 200 milliliters of thick coconut milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 pandan leaves (make a knot)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of corn flour or corn flour (dissolve with a little water)
How to make green bean porridge
- Santan Sauce. Pour coconut milk, sugar, salt, and pandan leaves into the pan. Boil until it boils while continuing to stir so that the coconut milk does not break.
- Give cornstarch solution, stir and cook until it thickens a little. Lift, set aside.
- Mung beans. Pour green beans and soaking water into the pan, add pandan leaves and salt. Boil using medium heat until the beans are half soft.
- Give sugar, cook until the water is slightly shrunk and cooked green beans. Lift, serve with coconut milk sauce.
