This was conveyed directly by a durian trader at the Cheng Ho Pasuruan tourist market named Yudi.
Dozens of durian traders in the Cheng Ho tourist market region regretted a viral video containing Tewel, Saturday (02/08/2025).“It is impossible for the seller here to deceive the buyers. All durians purchased, on average, are tasted before being taken home,” Yudi explained.
A similar statement was made by another durian trader named Totok. He explained, they always opened durian before being sold to the buyer.

Visitors can even taste it first. If it doesn’t feel as expected, visitors can exchange it right away.
“If we sell, the durian is opened. If it does not match the taste, it can be exchanged at that moment,” Totok said.
