Jakarta (ANTARA) – Premium luwak coffee product from Indonesia, Worcas, has been selected to represent the excellence of Indonesian coffee in the Indonesian Pavilion at the 2024 China International Import Expo (CIIE).
Director of Worcas, Roy Sevelt Roysevelt in his statement in Jakarta, Thursday said that this event was a strategic platform for Indonesia’s superior products to penetrate the global market.
“With a reputation as high quality luwak coffee, Worcas has an extraordinary opportunity to introduce authentic Indonesian flavors to an international audience, including potential buyers from various countries,” he said.
Roy said that Worcas’ participation in this prestigious event was the result of curation by the Directorate General of National Export Development (DJPEN) of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.

Worcas is produced to high standards and maintains the authenticity of the process from upstream to downstream.
According to him, Worcas not only carries a brand name, but also a mission to introduce the uniqueness and rich taste of Indonesian coffee to the world.
“We want to share stories about Indonesia’s natural wealth and our dedication to maintaining the best quality to meet the expectations of the Chinese international market,” he said.
It is known, apart from promoting luwak coffee, the Indonesian Pavilion at CIIE 2024 also displays various other superior products such as Indomie, Kopiko, and various Mayora products, which are well known in the Chinese international market.

The China International Import Expo has become one of the largest initiatives to expand China’s economic openness while increasing global trade collaboration.
Worcas, together with other superior products, is optimistic about taking advantage of this opportunity to strengthen its position in the international market, expand its business network, and contribute to encouraging Indonesia’s economic growth at the global level.
It is also hoped that the presence of these products will strengthen trade relations between Indonesia and China, as well as expand the market for Indonesian products on the global stage.
“Our participation in CIIE opens up great opportunities to expand our business network with global Chinese partners and strengthen Worcas’ position as a symbol of quality Indonesian coffee,” he concluded.
