Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Police arrested a woman who sent an offline order of poisoned satay via online motorcycle taxi (ojol) in Bantul, Yogyakarta. Because the recipient refused, the satay was eventually eaten by the motorbike taxi driver’s son and the boy died.
Dirreskrimum Polda DIY Kombes Burkan Rudy Satria said that the perpetrator with the initials NA (25) was successfully arrested after finding the location where the satay was purchased.
“We carried out an investigation for 4 days, then we were able to narrow down one of the potential suspects, namely A,” said Burkan at the Bantul Police, Yogyakarta, Monday (3/5/2021).
Burkan said that the perpetrator was determined to do this because he was hurt by the recipient who had married another woman. However, the satay shipment was rejected and ended up being eaten by the motorbike taxi driver’s family.
“We are currently detaining the suspect at the Bantul Police,” said Burkan.
The mysterious woman who entrusted the satay package to Bandiman, NF’s father, is still being sought.
