KOMPAS.com – The hot afternoon is best accompanied by desserts refreshing cold. Sometimes you can try making watermelon guava pudding at home.
To make the fruit taste more pronounced in the pudding, add blended red guava to the pudding mixture. Then add a few drops of food coloring to make the color more visible.

Ingredient 1:
- 200 gr red guava flesh (cut into pieces)
- 400 ml water
- 1 packet of gelatin powder
- 75 gr granulated sugar
- 3 drops of pink food coloring
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 20 gr raisins (chopped)
Ingredient 2:
- 300 ml water
- 50 gr granulated sugar
- 1 packet of gelatin powder
- 4 drops of green food coloring

How to make watermelon guava pudding:
1. Blend guava with 400 milliliters of water, then cook with gelatin powder and sugar while stirring until it boils. Add pink food coloring, then stir until evenly mixed.
2. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until thick, then add the granulated sugar little by little while beating until stiff.
3. Pour the gelatin mixture into the beaten egg whites, then stir until evenly mixed. Pour the jelly mixture into a triangular mold, then dip in some raisins randomly.
4. Meanwhile, boil ingredient 2 in a pan while stirring until it boils, then add green food coloring and stir until evenly mixed.
5. Pour the green pudding mixture over the pink pudding that has hardened. Let the pudding cool and harden, then serve it cut into triangles like watermelon.
