Sugar is contained in many food and beverage products that we consume everyday, ranging from packaged foods, snacks in minimarkets, to bottled fruit juices. Unfortunately, many people are already addicted to sugar. They cannot refrain from eating and drinking sweetly.

Famous as a healthy snack, Greek Yogurt can be relied upon to reduce the desire to eat sweet. In 100 grams of Greek Yogurt contains 10 grams of protein and other healthy nutrients digestion. Besides being eaten directly, Greek Yogurt is delicious mixed with cinnamon powder, frozen fruit, to nuts.

2. Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate contains more polyphenols than white chocolate. This antioxidant can improve heart and brain health. But avoid excessive consumption because dark chocolate still contains fat and sugar. Make sure you only eat 1 serving (30-60 grams) or less every day.

3. Apple

Apples can be eaten directly, roasted, or made into sauce or jelly. The sweet taste of apples can help reduce the desire to eat sweet from the sources of food that is less healthy. The bonus again, apples contain pectin fiber which is good for the digestive system and reduce levels of bad cholesterol.

4. Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes have a natural sweet taste and are filling, thus preventing you from overeating. Sweet potatoes contain carbohydrates, fiber, and vitamin A which helps encourage the body’s defense against disease. Not only boiled, sweet potatoes are also delicious to roast with cinnamon seasoning.
