- 250 gr wheat flour
- 50 gr margarine
- 50 gr butter
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ice water
- 6 plantains
- Chocolate glaze to taste
- Cheddar cheese to taste
How to make viral banana pie
1. Prepare bananas, peel and cut into 2 parts.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon margarine and fry the bananas until cooked. Remove, cut the banana into small pieces and set aside.
3. Prepare a container, add flour, butter and margarine.
4. Mix everything until it forms a sand grain texture. Add salt and eggs, then mix well.
5. Add ice water and knead the dough until it is smooth and not sticky.
6. Prepare a pie mold, grease the mold with margarine.
7. Take a little dough (around 24 grams) and press it into the pie mold.
8. Prick the base of the dough with a fork so that it doesn’t expand when baked.
9. Pour the chocolate glaze over the flattened dough, then place the banana slices on top.
10. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the bananas as an additional topping.
11. Bake the pie at 175°C for 30 minutes until cooked.
12. Once cooked, remove from heat and let cool.
13. Remove from the mold and the banana pie is ready to be served.
