UMKM Culinary enliven Kasanga Festival 2025, from Pindang Sauce Rujak to contemporary food

DENPASAR, BALIPOST.com – Kasanga Festival 2025 is an event that is awaited by SMEs in Bali, especially in the culinary field.

This festival presents a variety of food stands that serve a variety of flavors, from typical Balinese culinary, pindang soup salad, to contemporary foods, kebabs.

The business actors who participated in the first time claimed to be enthusiastic and hoped that this festival would be a means to introduce their products while boosting income.

One of the young businesses, Kadek Rama Cahya Putra Wiwa Darmawan (16), from East Denpasar, took advantage of this opportunity to peddle various favorite menus of young people such as kebab, chicken skin, mushrooms, chickens, topoki, french fries, as well as other foods and drinks.

“This is the first time I opened a stand at the 2025 Kasanga Festival. Hopefully, the condition of the festival still supports even though it was raining and making a muddy area. But so far it is pretty good to sell,” he said, Friday (3/21).

Meanwhile, Ari Agustini (39), the owner of Kedai Daluman, participated in the festival by presenting traditional menus such as Tipat Cantok, Rujak, Daluman, and fresh drinks such as avocado juice and avocado.

Although this is the first time to open a stand at the Kasanga Festival, Ari has experienced in a big event such as the Denpasar Festival. “I want to try the atmosphere at the Kasanga Festival, how the prospect of sales. My hope, hopefully this festival will be more victorious and become a forum to increase MSME income in Denpasar,” he said.

Not only that, Dewa Nyoman Budiantara Yoga (25), the owner of Lawar Plek by Ajik Jhon from Ubud, also enlivened the event with a typical Balinese law serving, such as Lawar Marlin and Lawar Squid.

“This is my first experience in joining the Kasanga Festival. The aim is to find experience and introduce Balinese lawar. I hope this event will be more lively and crowded, and can help MSMEs around to be better known and developed,” he explained.

Even though it is colored by rain, the enthusiasm of business actors remains on to provide the best for visitors and support the stretching of the local economy. (Wahyu Widya/Balipost)
