Number 1 Most Delicious Food in the World
Rendang was named the number 1 most delicious food in the world in 2017.
At that time, CNN International released a list of the “50 Most Delicious Foods in the World”.
Rendang ranks number one followed by fried rice at number two.
This determination was based on voting on the Facebook social media page and succeeded in collecting 35,000 votes.

The unique taste of West Sumatran rendang is apparently influenced by typical Indian food which is rich in spices.
