Three Coffee Experts from America Share Knowledge of the Ins and Outs of Espresso



Jakarta – Three American coffee experts will share their knowledge about making espresso. Starting from handling coffee to how to extract it.

Today (15/9), the Exclusive Coffee Class held by detikfood and the Indonesian Coffee Academy took place at Anomali Coffee Menteng, Jakarta. A total of 30 participants had the opportunity to learn directly the correct way to make espresso from experts.

This coffee class is held exclusively because it presents experts on coffee machines, coffee and coffee sales from the Synesso team, from Seattle, America.

There is Mark Barnett as owner and designer of Synesso, Aaron Bly Technical Services Manager of Synesso and Sarah Palmer as Global Sales Manager of Synesso. The three of them will explain more about coffee in two class sessions.

Especially in the espresso class, Sarah brought material about espresso extraction to milk steaming. Also about the acidity of espresso, roasting coffee beans and handling coffee beans.

Before the class with Synesso, the event opened with sharing basic knowledge about coffee from Aris Kadarisman as the Indonesian Coffee Academy Lecturer. Aris provides information about the coffee processing process, roasting and espresso machines.

“There are many espresso machines on the market. This also has a big influence on the taste of coffee,” said Aris Kadarisman.

For Synesso, Aris said that this machine has the advantage of varying pressure and adjusting temperature when making espresso.
