“Usually parents give their children coffee, because they ask for it. They see that their parents or their siblings are used to drinking coffee, then most parents think that there is no problem giving 1-2 sips of coffee to children, even though the effect is quite long “Then parents will get into the habit of giving their children the drinks they want, rather than going against their wishes,” continued Doctor Corkins.

“So what’s the conclusion? Avoid giving caffeinated drinks to children. Children don’t need it, because caffeine functions as a stimulant which increases alertness in the body. If children feel they need coffee to get through the day, parents should consult about this “Go to a pediatrician to find the root cause,” concluded Doctor Corkins.
