Cardiovascular disease is a disease caused by disorders of the heart and blood vessels. Where there is narrowing or blockage of blood vessels which can cause heart attacks and chest pain.
However, the risk of developing cardiovascular disease can be avoided by regularly consuming avocados.
According to research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association, consuming at least two servings of avocado a week can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease compared to people who rarely eat avocados.
This research was conducted over a 30 year period, involving more than 110,000 participants. The authors concluded that replacing certain foods containing fat with avocados could lead to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease.

The body does need cholesterol, but the amount doesn’t need to be too much. Most cholesterol is made by the body itself, especially liver tissue. Another part is obtained from the food consumed daily.
If cholesterol levels are excessive, especially LDL (Low density lipoprotein) or bad cholesterol levels, it can accumulate in the walls of blood vessels and cause blockages and obstruct blood flow.
Therefore, cholesterol levels in the body need to be maintained. One of them is by consuming avocado.
A study published in the same journal revealed that eating one avocado a day for six months can slightly reduce LDL cholesterol levels. Ultimately it can reduce the risk of heart disease.
Avocados are known to be low in sugar and salt, but high in monounsaturated fats, potassium, fiber and sterols, which play an important role in maintaining heart health.
According to health experts called the Times of India, the large amount of monounsaturated fat in avocados can reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) levels, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.
