This is the Food Menu for the Head of State’s Farewell Ceremony at the Presidential Palace

JAKARTA, BALIPOST.com – A number of dishes were prepared at the farewell event for the head of state which took place at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Sunday (20/10).

Director of Operation Food & Beverage Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Algamar, quoted from the Antara News Agency, said that the Jakarta Presidential Palace cook prepared the main food menu in the form of lontong kikil to market snacks.

“Today’s special menu is lontong kikil, dim sum, and market snacks,” he said.

His party facilitates professional chefs to serve state guests, two chefs each in the President Lounge and President’s Office in Jakarta.

He said cooking preparations began at 06.30 WIB in the Palace kitchen to be served to state guests who were present at lunch time starting at 12.00 WIB.

All lunch dishes were provided by around six waiters, Algamar added.

“The morning preparations were all ready, everything was ready earlier,” he said.

Previously it was reported, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno said that the farewell procession would be held after Prabowo Subianto-Gubran Rakabuming Raka was inaugurated as President of the Republic of Indonesia and Vice President for the 2024-2029 period at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta.

“After the inauguration, Pak Jokowi will first go to the Jakarta Palace. “Later, President Prabowo will follow for a farewell ceremony,” he said.

Pratikno said that at the Palace today there will only be a farewell ceremony, followed by President Jokowi’s departure back to Solo at around 15.00 WIB.

Apart from that, plans are also to hold a dinner at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta with important guests. (kmb/balipost)
