This is a range of delicious Indonesian satay

Citizen6, Jakarta The large number of Indonesian culinary preparations means that we are often confused about what food to eat. It seems that local culinary delights cannot be separated from satay. Apart from satay, which we can easily find in almost all corners of Indonesia, such as goat satay and chicken satay. Each region has a unique type of satay originating from that region. For example, Maranggi satay in the Purwakarta area, or frog satay in Jogjakarta, Bali, where we know Sate Lilit.

The following are various typical Indonesian satays.

1. Maranggi Sate

First we will taste maranggi satay. Maranggi satay itself is a typical food from Purwakarta Regency, West Java. Served dry, not directly mixed with peanut sauce or soy sauce. Even though the beef or goat satay has a dry texture, the taste is still sweet and savory because it has been seasoned first. Maranggi satay restaurants usually provide chilies, a bottle of sweet soy sauce and separate oncom seasoning if you wish.
