1. Watermelon

Watermelon is a fruit that is sweet, hydrating and dense with nutrients and vitamins. It turns out that not only is watermelon suitable for consumption as a healthy snack, it is also recommended to be consumed after exercising.

Watermelon is rich in the amino acid L-citrulline which can produce nitric oxide to improve blood circulation in muscles. Apart from being consumed as cut fruit, watermelon is also suitable to be enjoyed as a refreshing juice.

2. Fish

In various studies conducted by experts, fish that contain natural fats or oils have very good properties for the human body. One of them is the protein content which is effective in regenerating muscle cells after exercise.

3. Beetroot juice

Beetroot, which is a root tuber, contains nitrate components and a pigment called betalain. The nitrate component can help send oxygen to the muscles so that the muscles more easily produce energy to repair their cells.

Meanwhile, the betalain component is able to overcome inflammation and oxidative damage that the body receives during pregnancysport. In a 2016 study, 30 participants proved that beetroot juice could treat muscle pain 48 hours after exercising.
