Jakarta –
Protein is one of the nutrients the body needs. Not only found in food, protein is also contained in this healthy drink.
Protein is an important nutrient that provides many benefits. Starting from providing a feeling of fullness, healthy bones and teeth, supporting tissue growth and maintenance, and others.
According to health guidelines, humans need 46-56 grams of protein a day. However, this amount is adjusted to age, body condition and how much activity you do.
Protein intake is not only found in food, but also in drinks. Quoted from Eating Well (12/04/24) here are 5 protein-rich drinks:
1. Cow’s milk

Cow’s milk is an ideal choice to meet protein needs. In 100 ml of pure cow’s milk there are 3.32 grams of protein. There are two types of protein contained, namely casein and whey.
Both types of protein are both high quality and provide essential amino acids. Apart from that, cow’s milk is also a good source of calcium and vitamin D.
If drunk regularly every day, cow’s milk is beneficial for the body and can improve bone and teeth health.
2. Fortified soy milk
Enriched soy milk is soy milk that is mixed with ingredients such as brown rice, black sesame, barley and others. This way the nutritional content also increases, including protein.
A cup of soy milk is believed to contain around 6.3 grams of protein. This amount is as high as the protein content in eggs.
Apart from protein, soy milk is also packed with the same amounts of calcium, vitamin D and vitamin A as cow’s milk. Soy milk can be a good choice for vegans and people who are lactose intolerant.
