1. Increase your protein intake

The benefits of protein in losing weight have been proven in various studies. Research conducted in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition explains in detail the relationship between protein and weight loss.

The higher protein consumption in a person’s diet is said to have a huge effect on preventing obesity. Especially when adding protein-rich foods to your daily breakfast menu.

“When you get enough protein in the morning, it will make your body’s metabolism work well and help control your appetite. Routinely doing this habit can prevent overeating and cut calorie intake,” explained Mitri.

2. Reduce alcohol consumption

When you want a relaxed atmosphere or just to relieve fatigue, many people choose alcohol as their accompanying drink. In fact, alcohol consumption actually has a negative impact on body health, including when trying to lose weight.

Drinking alcohol is also mentioned as a pathway to introduce calories without nutrients into the body. There are no other beneficial ingredients besides the high sugar content in a bottle of alcohol.

“Alcohol is packed with empty calories and sugar which can cause bloating and bad habits when choosing food or drink intake,” continued Mitri.
