1. Diet soda
Soda is known as an unhealthy high-calorie drink. To trick consumers, quite a few soda manufacturers make diet soda variants, making consumers think that the drink is healthy enough to enjoy.
In fact, diet soda also has calories that are not much different from soda in general. Soda drinks which are usually packaged in cans do not contain any nutritional content so they are not beneficial for the body.
Even though it is claimed that it does not use sugar, the fact is that many diet sodas still include sugar in their mixture. Unconsciously consuming excessive amounts of sugar is the precursor to weight gain and several high-risk diseases.
2. Packaged fruit juice
Fruit that is high in fiber is good for helping metabolism and curbing hunger. But these benefits only apply to fruit consumed fresh or fruit juice without any mixture added.
Packaged fruit juice, which is often considered a practical healthy drink, cannot be categorized as a healthy drink. Many packaged fruit juices have lost their nutrients and added lots of sweeteners to them.
This packaged juice will contain more sugar and calories that the body doesn’t actually need. So health experts recommend making your own fruit juice at home.
