JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Chef Tati Carlin’s trip to Masterchef Australia season 11 began with her love for cooking and encouragement from her husband.
The woman from Banjarnegara, Central Java, also introduced some Indonesian special foods to the judges of cooking competitions in the land of kangaroos, including peanut brittle, grilled rice, pepes, and ferocious sour.

Tati said, initially she was reluctant to register as a Masterchef Australia participant in 2019.

According to him, registering as an Australian masterchef participant is quite difficult. In fact, when sending an application, he was faced with various questions.
The test he had to go through was not just a matter of cooking. When he entered the last 200 round, he had to take a psychological test consisting of more than 300 questions.

When Tati had entered the last 50, she returned to undergoing a psychological test.

According to Tati, this could be because the Australian government pays attention to the importance of mental health.

He was grateful to be able to enter and be part of the Australian masterchef because the selection process was not easy.

For about five months as a Masterchef Australian participant, Tati lived in a dormitory with other participants.
There are a total of four rooms in the dormitory, two rooms for male participants and two rooms for female participants. The bed provided in the form of multilevel beds.
