The Ministry of Creative Economy meets with the Working Group to discuss steps to strengthen the creative and creative sector

Jakarta (ANTARA) –

Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya held a meeting with Creative Economy Practitioners to strengthen the creative economy ecosystem in Indonesia.

He explained that collaboration between creative economy sub-sectors with other ministries, such as the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Industry, and Ministry of Communications and Digital is very important for the new engine of national economic growth (new engine of growth).

“We are open to jointly defining which subsector focuses more on the creative economy, industry or culture. In this way, we can synergize steps to resolve the confusion that has been felt by the community. Because of course we want the creative economy to become a new economic force Indonesia,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky in a press statement received on Friday.

“Current conditions can be said to be not ideal. There are distortions and deviations between what fellow creative economy actors are doing and the policies formulated by the government. Now, what we want to discuss is how to synergize these two things,” said Gupta.

On this occasion, creative economy actors also expressed their views and input regarding the obstacles or obstacles they faced, from upstream to downstream.

Some of the issues discussed include the clustering of creative economy subsectors outside the existing 17 subsectors as well as the preparation of a more comprehensive strategic plan.
