Store at room temperature
Quoted from Real SimpleFriday (22/11/2024), mango storage methods should be adjusted to the level of ripeness of the mango.
If the mango is not yet ripe, it is best to store it at room temperature, not in the refrigerator.
At room temperature, the fruit ripening process will continue so that the taste becomes sweeter and the flesh becomes softer within a few days.

Is it OK to store mangoes in the refrigerator?
Mangoes can also be stored in the refrigerator. This method should be applied to mangoes that are ripe, but you haven’t had time to eat them.
Put the whole mango inside crisper drawer or the drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator which usually has low humidity levels, quoted from All Recipes.
Temperature in crisper drawer will slow down the mango ripening process, while making the mango last longer. If possible, set the refrigerator temperature to around 4.4 degrees Celsius to be more optimal.
If the mango has been cut into pieces, put it in an airtight container first. Usually mangoes will last for a week, but don’t forget to check them regularly so they don’t get too ripe.
