Jakarta (ANTARA) – Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Menekraf/KaBekraf), Teuku Riefky Harsya, is fully committed to supporting the Government’s Nutritious Meal Program, one of which is through the Cook Training program which takes place simultaneously in 4 cities, namely Surakarta, Kupang , Balikpapan, and Medan.
“One of the big challenges currently being faced is improving the quality of people’s nutrition. “This is a serious concern for the government, because good nutrition is the main foundation for creating a healthy, intelligent and productive generation,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky in a press statement received, Friday.
Minister of Creative Economy Riefky explained that this activity was one of the Ministry of Creative Economy’s Quick Wins which was also in line with Asta Cita.

He said that nutritious eating is not only the responsibility of the government, but requires “hexahelix” collaboration between government, media, academics, associations, business and financial institutions, including chefs who have a strategic role in providing healthy, delicious and nutritionally balanced food. .
In the Cook Training, participants were trained by four chefs who are experts in the culinary field, namely Chef Norman Ismail in Surakarta, Chef Risa Andhitia in Kupang, Chef Steby Rafael in Balikpapan, and Chef Setyo Widyarto in Medan.
“The aim is to increase the capacity of cooks to support nutritious eating programs. “We hope that this training will provide new insights, practical skills and inspiration to create nutritious food that is beneficial for the wider community,” said Minister of Creative Economy Riefky.
