Presenting a culinary selection of more than 53 food and drink choices, this activity lasts for 13 days, from November 5 to November 17 2024 in the main atrium on the ground floor of Cibubur Junction.
The variety of Asian culinary delights presented at this festival include various dishes that are well known to the Indonesian people such as Uncle’s Ice Cream from Singapore, Dimsum Uenak representing China which offers a variety of Dimsum, Dancing Shrimp & Grill Shells by Sindut which offers a variety of food and snack grills with Authentic Thai flavors complete with typical Thai snacks, namely Sticky Rice Mango from Cici Mango, as well as Somtam by Rujak Kolam Medan.
Representing Korean culinary delights, BBS Bungeopang is a typical Korean culinary snack that provides a soft, thin food texture, with various choices for fillings such as matcha, chocolate, cheese, etc. which will pamper the taste buds of sweet taste lovers. Representing Japan, Coin 10 yen will present legit snacks which are quite famous.
Not to forget, representing Indonesian culinary delights, a variety of typical Indonesian foods and snacks such as Mie Ayam Ijo & Mie Kocok Bandung De Java, Sate Taichan, Es Tebu Indonesia, and Tjuankie PapaBoss are also presented at this culinary festival to provide a variety of culinary choices for visitors.
This festival is a collaboration between Cibubur Junction and Digikuliner, which is a directory and review site for eating places in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Bandung and Surabaya, which provides complete information starting from menus, opening hours, locations, and price ranges. consistently holds culinary festivals in various cities by introducing various types of food with different themes and flavors to the public.
“Cibubur Junction consistently presents culinary activities to meet the needs of visitors as well as residents of Cibubur and its surroundings. We hope that with the culinary activities of the Asia Food Festival we can enrich people’s experience by exploring culinary specialties from several Asian countries. Just by attending the activities at Cibubur Junction, visitors can choose and maybe reminisce about some of the Asian food that we present at this culinary event,” said Cibubur Junction Mall Director Aji Widiarto,
“We chose culinary as an event that we hold 4 times a year by presenting different themes and types of food, because culinary is an effective promotion to introduce a culture through culinary festivals. “In every culinary festival, Cibubur Junction also always presents typical Indonesian food with the aim of preserving traditional food while maintaining its existence so that Indonesian food remains one of Indonesia’s cultural treasures which we must preserve,” concluded Aji.
