Take a peek at the menu prices at Raffi Ahmad and Kaesang’s eating places, Semangkok meatballs reach IDR 55 thousand


Suara.com – Not long ago, Raffi Ahmad and Kaesang Pangarep opened a culinary business entitled RANS Nusantara Besar on Jalan BSD Raya Pusat, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

It looks like the business was built in the style of a food court with lots of it tenants authentic Indonesian food. Seen on his official social media, Kaesang is said to have curated the UKMs that can rent tenants in that place.

However, this business has also received a lot of negative comments, including allegations that there is money laundering behind the business.

Regardless of the various pros and cons that accompany it, it has been observed that RANS Nusantara Besar is still busy with people visiting it. It’s not surprising that many reviews have developed, including regarding the prices of the food menus served there.

Some apparently considered the food served to be quite expensive, like menus in shopping centers. Even a TikTok account @ell.abel had leaked the taste of a bowl of meatballs which was sold for IDR 55 thousand at RANS Nusantara Besar. It is said that this food was recommended by Raffi as the business owner.

“The soup is delicious, brothy, strong. But it seems too expensive, right? 55 (thousand Rupiah),” said the account owner while tasting the menu consisting of several meatballs, tofu and vermicelli, quoted on Tuesday (26/3/2024).

However, it was also recently stated that the original price for a bowl of meatballs was IDR 35 thousand. Then the video owner ordered an additional tendon meatball so the price was IDR 55 thousand.

“But the tendon meatballs are like this, I thought they were really big,” he said again, meaning that the tendon meatballs were quite small in size and were sold for IDR 20 thousand.

Meanwhile, looking at Google reviews, RANS Nusantara Besar received 3.9 stars. There are several accounts that leak food prices there, such as Tahu Gejrot, which is sold for IDR 13 thousand for a portion size cups small, as well as Es Goyang at a price of IDR 21 thousand.

I think it’s overpriced for ice shakes. I tried the jackfruit flavor and the chocolate dipping topping, the jackfruit taste was less flavorful and the chocolate was also less chocolatey,” commented netizens.

Then, there is also Nasi Goreng Tripe Semarang at a price of IDR 51 thousand per portion which unfortunately is served without pickles and crackers because it is wrapped in aka take away. Meanwhile, several other netizens also highlighted payment methods that can only be done without cash, aka cashless with additional admin IDR 1,000 per tenants.
