Sutjidra-Supriatna Clean Sweep the Votes of 9 Districts in Buleleng

Candidate pair (paslon) for regent and deputy regent of Buleleng number 2 Nyoman Sutjidra-Gede Supriatna swept to victory in all sub-districts in Buleleng Regency. This was revealed when the Buleleng General Election Commission (KPU) completed the vote recapitulation for the Bali Governor Election (Pilgub) and Buleleng Regent Election (Pilbup) 2024.

Based on the results of the vote recapitulation, this pair from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) received 227,312 votes. The details are that Sutjidra-Supriatna obtained 23,858 votes in Sukasada District, Gerokgak District (32,411), Seririt District (25,719), Busungbiu District (11,687), Banjar District (23,191), Buleleng District (40,583), Sawan District (23,519), Kubu added (19,192), and Tejakula District (27,152).

Meanwhile candidate pair 1 Nyoman Sugawa Korry-Gede Suardana received a total of 130,343 votes. With details of Gerokgak District (15,381), Seririt (15,835), Busungbiu (11,584), Banjar (18,846), Sukasada (16,526), ​​Buleleng (23,257), Sawan (13,143), Kubu addedan (9,919), and Tejakula (5857).

The candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Bali number 2, Wayan Koster-Giri Prasta, also won. Koster-Giri was ahead of the Mulia-PAS candidate pair in Gumi Panji Sakti.

Koster-Giri got 206,028 votes in Buleleng while Mulia-PAS got 153,444 votes. Koster-Giri succeeded in winning votes in 8 sub-districts, namely Gerokgak Sub-district (28,569), Seririt (22,959), Banjar (22,139), Sukasada (21,402), Buleleng (33,325), Sawan (22,518), Kubu addedan (18,321), and Tejakula (24,980 ).

Meanwhile, Mulia-PAS only won in Busungbiu District with 12,612 votes, ahead of Koster-Giri who won 10,815 votes in Busungbiu District. Meanwhile, Mulia-PAS in other sub-districts, namely Gerokgak, received 19,487 votes, Seririt (18,832), Banjar (19,180), Sukasada (19,152), Buleleng (30,944), Sawan (14,254), Kubu addedan (10,915), and Tejakula (8064).

Chairman of the Buleleng KPU, Komang Dudhi Udiyana, said that the recapitulation process had gone smoothly. “Next, we will evaluate our performance, see what can be improved, maximize it, perfect it again,” said Dudhi.

Dudhi said that after the recapitulation at the district level, his party would submit the results of the vote recapitulation for the Bali gubernatorial election to the Bali Provincial KPU. Meanwhile, to determine the regent and deputy regent, Dudhi said that his party was waiting for notification from the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding whether or not there was a lawsuit or dispute.

“We are still waiting for the BRPK (Constitutional Case Register Book). Once it is received, three days after that we have to determine the selected candidate pairs, that’s the process that will follow,” he explained.
