Green beans are usually enjoyed as a sweet, sticky porridge. Not only are they delicious, but green beans also contain various healthy benefits that the body needs.

The calorie content is 60 kcal per 200 grams of raw green beans, according to Eat This Much. The macronutrient breakdown is 63 percent carbohydrates, 4 percent fat and 32 percent protein.
2. Healthy digestion

Green beans can be consumed to improve digestion, because they contain high fiber. According to the USDA, 200 grams of green beans contain 32 grams of fiber and 48 grams of protein.
These two ingredients can improve digestion. Protein is known to produce antibodies, enzymes, blood, hormones, and others. Meanwhile, fiber supports intestinal health which can facilitate digestion.
