KOMPAS.com – Shrimp can be cooked by grilling them with spicy, appetizing spices.
Spicy grilled shrimp is made with shallots, garlic, curly red chilies, red cayenne peppers, candlenuts, shrimp paste and thick coconut milk.
The type of shrimp used can be jerbung or tiger, make sure to buy fresh shrimp. Check out the following recipe for spicy grilled shrimp.

Material:
- 20 large prawns (jerbung/tiger) leave whole
- 4 tbsp oil
Puree:
- 6 red onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 15 curly red chilies
- 5 red cayenne peppers
- 3 candlenuts
- 1/2 tsp shrimp paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 100 ml thick coconut milk

1. Split the back of the shrimp, wash until clean. Slice the shrimp’s belly, skewer it with a satai skewer.
2. Heat the oil, saute the ground spices until fragrant and cooked. Add coconut milk, stir until it boils. Lift.
3. Rub the stir-fry seasoning onto the shrimp, grill over hot coals until the shrimp are cooked and open. Lift.
