Soy sauce egg tofu recipe
Material
- 2 large white tofu, coarsely chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground pepper
- 2 cabbage leaves, finely sliced
- 50 grams of bean sprouts, peel, wash clean
- 1 carrot, shaved
- Enough oil, for frying
Sauce Ingredients:
- 5 red bird’s eye chilies, fried
- 3 cloves of garlic, fried whole
- 50 grams of fried peanuts
- 100 ml sweet soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 150 ml hot water
Sprinkling Ingredients:
- Fried peanuts, coarsely crushed
- Sliced celery leaves
- Fried onions
- Beat the egg whites until frothy, then add the salt, ground pepper and coarsely chopped tofu. Add cabbage, bean sprouts and carrots, stir until evenly mixed.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan, then pour the egg tofu mixture into it. Fry until cooked, dry and brown, then remove and set aside.
- To make the sauce, grind the fried chilies, fried garlic and peanuts. Mix the mashed ingredients with sweet soy sauce, lime juice and hot water, stir well until the consistency is right.
