Banana Cheesecake Recipe

Material

  • 7-8 pieces (50 grams) of plantains
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 100 grams of granulated sugar
  • 100 grams of wheat flour
  • 100 grams butter, melted
  • 50 grams of grated cheese
  • 6-7 sheets (150 g) cheese slices
  • 50 grams of grated cheese, for sprinkling

How to make banana cheesecake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a 22 x 22 cm square baking tin. Line the bottom of the tin with buttered parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Cut the banana into sizes 1 x 3 x 4 cm. Set aside to use as a base layer later.
  3. Beat the egg yolks and egg whites with the granulated sugar until fluffy and thick. Gradually add the flour, melted butter and grated cheese while stirring gently until evenly mixed.
  4. Arrange the banana pieces on the bottom of the baking dish with a distance of 1 cm. Place slices of cheese on top of the banana slices to provide a layer of savory flavor.
  5. Pour the mixture slowly into the pan until it is even and covers the banana and cheese layers. Smooth the surface of the dough using a spatula.
  6. Bake in the oven for 60 minutes or until completely cooked. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
  7. Sprinkle grated cheese over the cooled banana cheesecake. Serve in small pieces for a sweet snack with family or guests.
