Fried Tapai Recipe
Material
- 500 grams of soft cassava tapai
- 50 grams of wheat flour
- 1 egg
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- Sufficient cooking oil
Spread
- 100 grams dark cooking chocolate
- 70 grams of jam (according to taste)
- 100 grams roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
How to Make Fried Tapai
- Puree the tapai, mix with flour, eggs and vanilla. Stir until smooth, then shape into a ball the size of a ping pong ball.
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan, fry the tapai balls until golden yellow and cooked. Remove and drain to remove remaining oil.
- Melt the dark cooking chocolate until it is completely melted. Dip half of the fried tapai balls into the melted chocolate, leaving the other half yellow.
- While the chocolate layer is still wet, roll the tapai balls in roughly chopped roasted peanuts until the chocolate is completely covered.
