The following is a simple, home-style fried rice recipe that boarding house children can follow. By using 2 practical spices, sweet soy sauce and tomato sauce, the fried rice you make will taste delicious.

2 plates of white rice
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 cloves of garlic that have been finely chopped
2 red onions that have been finely chopped
Sufficient chilies that have been finely chopped
2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
Additional ingredients according to taste (sausages, meatballs, cabbage, eggs, etc.)
Chopped spring onions

Steps:

Heat oil in a frying pan.
Saute finely chopped garlic, shallots and chilies.
When it smells good, add additional ingredients such as sausage or eggs. Saute and stir briefly.
Put the rice into the pan.
Pour in sweet soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt and ground pepper.
Mix well. Don’t forget to taste the fried rice before serving.

How to Make Fried Rice with a Rice Cooker

Nowadays, rice cookers are not only used to cook rice, but also to cook various other dishes. One food that is easy and practical to cook in a rice cooker is fried rice.

The following is a list of ingredients and steps that need to be taken if you want to make fried rice using a rice cooker.

Ingredients:

1 plate of white rice
1 packet of instant fried rice seasoning
Sweet soy sauce
1 stick of cooked sausage if necessary
Fried shallots if necessary
Cooking oil/butter

Steps:

Add enough cooking oil/butter. Wait until the cooking oil is hot or the butter has melted.
Add the sausage, stir briefly, and add the prepared rice.
Add instant fried rice seasoning and sweet soy sauce to taste.
Stir until evenly mixed, don’t forget to taste the fried rice you make before serving.
Add fried shallots according to taste.
