Shrimp paste chili sauce recipe, deliciously eaten with rice for dawn


KOMPAS.com – Delicious shrimp paste tempeh sauce is eaten with warm rice for dawn. Especially if you want a simple “side dish”.

If you want another side dish, you can add fried eggs to keep it combined with this savory tempe sambal.

Material:

  • 300 grams of tempe (cut, grilled)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon of sugar
  • 5 centimeters of kencur
  • 1 teaspoon of shrimp paste (grilled)
  • 15 basil stems
  • enough oil (for frying)

Seasoning ingredients:

  • 2 cloves of garlic (fried)
  • 3 large red chili (set aside seeds, fry)
  • 6 curly red chili (fried)
  • 6 red cayenne pepper (fried)
  • 6 shallots (fried)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (fried)

How to make shrimp paste sambal

  1. Blend or ulek seasoning, shrimp paste, and kencu. Add salt and sugar, then puree or ulek again until it sinks.
  2. Give tempeh and basil, puree or ulek again but don’t get too smooth. Serve with warm rice or other side dishes.
