Returning to Indonesia, Marc Marquez misses eating fried rice

Suara.com – Repsol Honda racer Marc Marquez is known to have come to Indonesia several times.

Of the many typical Indonesian foods, Marc Marquez seems to be most impressed with fried rice.

This MotoGP racer from Spain also admitted that he was planning to try fried rice again after the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP race.

“Sunday night I want to try fried rice,” said Marc Marquez, in the Mandalika Circuit area, Lombok, Sunday (15/10/2023).

Furthermore, even though he arrived in Indonesia on Tuesday (10/10), Marquez admitted that he had not tried typical Indonesian food.

The reason is that racers have to go on a diet ahead of the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP race.

“During the GP (series of races) we only eat European food, rice and chicken breast, that’s our diet, and for the weekend, Sunday, maybe we’ll try Indonesian dessert,” explained Marquez.

Marc Marquez himself is no stranger to Indonesia. While defending the Repsol Honda team, Marquez often visited Indonesia to take part in various activities.

Marquez and Honda even launched a team for MotoGP in Indonesia.
