Recipe for Rock Sugar Ginger Tea, a Body Warming Drink for Rainy Days


KOMPAS.com – Brewing tea is often a favorite drink in the morning, afternoon or cold weather.

This warm drink is also suitable for combining with many ingredients, including tea which is known to warm the body.

You can make ginger tea with added rock sugar to serve when it rains, as has happened recently.

Material:

  • 1 tbsp black tea
  • 8 cm ginger
  • 500 ml water
  • 100 gr rock sugar

How to make rock sugar ginger tea

1. Wash the ginger thoroughly, then burn it and bruise it.

2. Boil water and add ginger, wait until it boils.

3. Remove from heat and immediately add the black tea. Stir until the color of the tea comes out, then strain.

4. Prepare a glass or cup, fill it with ginger tea. Add rock sugar and serve while hot.
