Kedondong beef rib soup ingredients:
- 500 gr beef ribs (cut into pieces)
- 1 liter of water
- 1 cm ginger (crushed)
- 1/2 nutmeg
- 1 spring onion (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
- 5 cayenne peppers
- 4 kedondong fruit (cut into pieces)
- Salt to taste
Ground spices:
- 3 red chilies
- 8 red onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp pepper

How to make kedondong beef rib soup:
1. Boil the ribs in water with ginger and nutmeg over low heat until the meat is soft, then set aside.
2. Saute the ground spices until fragrant in the waja, then pour the stir-fry spices into the boiled ribs. Cook using medium heat while stirring occasionally.
3. Add the spring onions, cayenne pepper, kedondong and salt to the boiled ribs, then stir until the sauce boils. After that, remove from heat and serve the rib soup while warm with a sprinkling of fried onions.
