Prince Harry’s Favorite Food
1. Grilled Chicken
Prince Harry has spoken more than once about his favorite food, roast chicken, in the book In the Shadows, he recounts one of his first dates with his future wife, Meghan Markle.
That’s when they discovered they shared favorite dishes and started preparing dinner together. Harry explained that he didn’t know how to prepare it and that night Meghan taught him how to cook it, namely roast chicken.
He also told me where to order grilled chicken. One of his favorite places is Nando’s, which sells whole chickens for £17.
In his biography, he recounts the moment Meghan went to the hospital to give birth. And while waiting for labor to be induced, Harry decided to order in Nando’s to “optimise” his wife’s peace of mind. The chicken was brought by the bodyguard.
2. Grilled Salmon
Another of Harry and Meghan’s favorite foods is grilled salmon, which they also cook together.
3. Sirloin Steaks
As mentioned in the book, what they ate was a menu consisting of New York sirloin steak.
4. Pie and Peas
Royal watcher Darren told people that the young prince enjoyed “traditional British food” and their favorites, including pie and peas, boiled chicken and rice, and fish cakes.
However, Darren revealed that William and Harry like to eat dishes that contain bananas, which is their favorite fruit.
“They love comfort food. They love banana pudding, anything really banana, banana ice cream. They love mixed baked goods, burgers, pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken and chicken cream sauce,” he said.
5. Pudding
Harry revealed in his book that one of his favorite desserts was pudding and bread pudding and combined with butter, this was also a favorite dish of his mother, Diana of Wales.
That wasn’t the only sweet treat his mother liked. On Harry’s 13th birthday in 1997, they celebrated at school with cake and pudding. Harry was given a choice of two flavors and the prince chose blackcurrant and mango (the latter being his mother’s favorite).
