Jakarta (ANTARA) – Wani Boemboe is a culinary label that offers typical Indonesian dishes with a serving concept rice bowls which can be enjoyed by spending less than IDR 30,000 per portion.
PT Wani Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Rebecca Pamela in the session online media networkingThursday, said there were five menus currently available, consisting of dishes based on chicken and beef. The chicken menu is priced at IDR 25,000, while the beef menu is IDR 27,000.
For dishes made from chicken, there are Chicken Boemboe Jimbaran, Chicken Boemboe Rujak and Chicken Boemboe Sambal Matah, while menus made from meat include Beef Boemboe Chilli Ijo, Beef Boemboe Rendang.
“For these menus, we have chosen a way that can be accepted by many people. We want to tell people that Indonesian food is not just rendang and sambal matah, but there are rujak spices, jimbaran spices,” said Rebecca.
Rebecca said that Wani Boemboe, which existed before the Wani Group, started with CEO Erwin Ongkowijoyo’s love of cooking and inviting his colleagues to taste his cooking. Erwin, who comes from Surabaya, then received advice to sell his food.
Edwin originally sold his food online offline in Pulomas, Jakarta. He then met Monika, who now serves as COO of PT Wani Group, and the idea emerged to collaborate with Alfagroup (Alfaexpress and Alfamart with the Beanspot logo), in order to expand sales distribution.
“Now there are 50 (in the Jakarta and Tangerang area) hopefully there will be more soon. Wani Boemboe is bought at the cashier and will be served by the cashier so we are giving food to the public fresh. Rebecca said.
Apart from being available in minimarkets, Wani Boemboe food products can now be ordered via various online ordering platforms.
He admitted that he was confident in selling his products to the public, especially young people and adults commuter because so far it has received a positive response from consumers.
“Now, thankfully, people like it, especially when meat is served with orek tempeh, Kremes because Indonesians like to look for the crunchy ones, and orek tempeh because in general people like the texture of orek tempeh. crunchy,” said Rebecca.
Rebecca said, Wani Boemboe, through its products, wants to present Indonesian food which is known for its rich taste of spices.
He added that his culinary label plans to release drink and snack products that remain focused on typical Indonesian culinary delights.
