Potato donut recipe, sweet snack that can be a selling idea


KOMPAS.com – Potato donuts are known to have a soft, and filling texture. This donut is not only suitable to be a family snack, but also a business idea.

The ingredients prepared for this recipe include potato flour, water, flour, yeast, sugar, and baking powder.

Material:

  • 100 grams of potato flour
  • 300 milliliters of water
  • 300 grams of high protein flour
  • 100 grams of medium protein flour
  • 6 grams of instant yeast
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 30 grams of milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cake puder or baking powder
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 125 milliliters of ice water
  • 40 grams of margarine
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 150 grams of flour sugar or donut sugar (for sprinkling)

  1. Mix potato flour and water in the container, stir until thickened. Let stand.
  2. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, milk powder, and baking powder. Stir well. Give a mixture of potato flour and water, stir again until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and ice water gradually while kneading until smooth. Add margarine and salt, knead back to elastic. Leave for about 15 minutes.
  4. Press the dough until deflated. Take the dough, make sure it weighs about 20 grams each. Leave it back for about 10 minutes.
  5. Flatten the dough, make a hole in the middle. Leave it back for about 35 minutes until the dough expands.
  6. Heat the oil in the pan using medium heat. Fried soak the dough until browned and cooked.
  7. Baluri donuts with flour sugar until smooth. Serve.
