KOMPAS.com – Squid is suitable to be prepared with Padang sauce using lots of spices.
You can make squid in Padang sauce with curly red chilies, shallots, garlic, ginger, broth, oyster sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce and pepper.
The squid recipe with Padang sauce can be used as a dinner menu, this recipe makes four portions.

Material:
- 500 grams of squid
- 3 tablespoons oil for frying
Puree:
- 5 curly red chilies
- 6 red onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cm ginger, crushed
- 300 ml chicken stock
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp chili sauce
- 6 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch, dissolved in a little water

1. Clean the squid, cut it open and strip the back. Cut off the ends of the tentacles, set aside.
2. Heat oil, saute ground spices and ginger until fragrant and cooked. Add the squid, stir until juicy. Add broth.
3. Add oyster sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, pepper, sugar and salt. Stir until boiling and cooked. Pour in the cornstarch solution, stir until thick. Lift.
