KOMPAS.com – Sambal lado mudo is a typical Padang chili sauce that is often found in Padang cuisine restaurants.
You can make it yourself at home, sambal lado mudo is made with green chilies, red onions, green tomatoes, lime and salt.
Sambal lado mudo is suitable to be eaten with chicken pop or rendang, it’s easy to make.

Material:
- 14 green chilies cut into pieces
- Red onions 10 pieces
- 2 green tomatoes, cut into pieces
- Salt 1 tsp
- Lime juice 1/4 tsp
- Cooking oil 3 tbsp

How to make lado mudo chili sauce:
1. Steam green chilies, shallots and tomatoes for five minutes.
2. Remove and mash coarsely.
3. Heat cooking oil, then fry until wilted.
4. Add salt and lime juice. Cook until cooked and fragrant.
5. Ready to serve.
