Oyster sauce squid ingredients:
- 1 kilogram of large squid
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 5 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 3 red onions (finely chopped)
- 3 centimeters young ginger (crushed and finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 200 milliliters water/broth (heat)
- 2 spring onions (chopped)
- 75 grams of onions (halved and thinly sliced lengthwise)

How to make squid in oyster sauce:
1. Clean the squid until white, set aside the head, slice the squid into thin rounds, then coat the squid with lime juice and salt.
2. Heat three tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, then saute the squid until it changes color. After that, remove the squid and set aside.
3. Add the remaining oil to the pan used to stir-fry the squid, then saute the garlic, shallots and ginger until fragrant. Add oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, tomato sauce and ground pepper, then cook again until all ingredients are mixed well.
4. Add hot water/broth, then stir again until evenly mixed. Add the squid, green onions, onions and sugar, then cook, stirring frequently, until the squid is cooked.
