Suradi successfully running his coffee business and becoming a regular customer of high-ranking officials. It turns out that the key to success is not being stingy with knowledge and giving charity regularly.
Suradi is a man who owns a coffee shop called Dunia Kopi. The coffee shop is located at Pasar Santa, Kebayoran, South Jakarta.
Recently, the shop has been widely discussed after the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, stopped by to buy coffee there. This moment was also shared by Sri Mulyani via her Instagram (18/06).

Through her Instagram, Sri Mulyani expressed her admiration for Suradi and his wife for her persistence in running the coffee business. Apart from that, Sri Mulyani was also impressed by Suradi’s figure who was not stingy with knowledge.
“Mr Suradi is also generous in sharing knowledge or tips about the types and characteristics of coffee, providing training in manual brewing or with an espresso machine to customers,” he wrote.
To detikcom (18/06) Suradi said that his life motto is ‘Work and Help Others’. He hopes that many people will succeed in selling coffee, so that Indonesian coffee farmers will become prosperous.

At his coffee shop, Suradi doesn’t just sell coffee and coffee machines. It also offers special training for people who want to learn about coffee and for people who want to open a coffee business.
“If you want to open a cafe, I’ll give you free coffee lessons once. But if you really want to be diligent in learning the coffee routine, we will prepare a trainer, a barista. You study for 8 hours a day at a cost of IDR 500 thousand,” said Suradi.
Not only that, Suradi also doesn’t mind giving discounts for training. He is even willing to provide coffee loan capital for those who are just starting their business.
“Now many people have been laid off and are turning to starting coffee businesses. There are people who want to open a coffee business with capital of 5 million, we will help with 3 million. The important thing is that education to open a coffee business doesn’t require a lot of capital,” said Suradi.

The way he gives charity is also by routinely providing free coffee every day in his shop. In fact, he doesn’t have a problem if there is a coffee shop that wants to sell right next to it the shop.
“Alms for benefits. Our coffee science tells us that you don’t need to be stingy to other people,” said Suradi.
It can be said that not being stingy with knowledge and giving charity regularly are the keys to Suradi’s success in running his business. Now, customers are not only from various regions in Indonesia, but also Singapore, Korea, Japan and Arabia.
Even among its customers are high-ranking officials such as Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Marullah Matali, Rizal Ramli and others.
