Depok (ANTARA) – Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid directly inspected the provision of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) for students at SDN Cilangkap 3 and SDN Cilangkap 5 Depok, West Java on Monday.
The review of MBG provision carried out by the Minister of Communication and Technology began at SDN 5 Cilangkap. Arriving at the location at around 09.00 WIB, Meutya visited one of the classrooms to distribute food packages to the students while interacting with them.
When the students at SDN 5 Cilangkap ate the food that was distributed, Meutya then continued the inspection agenda to SDN 3 Cilangkap and carried out the same activity.
The menu served in one portion of the food package for students at SDN 3 Cilangkap and SDN Cilangkap 5 is rice, chicken, vegetables and citrus fruit.

It is known that the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) officially started the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) today, Monday (6/1).
Head of the Legal and Public Relations (PR) Bureau of BGN RI Lalu Muhammad Iwan Mahardan said that the first priority is providing free nutritious meals in January 2025, namely to school students.
Head of the Indonesian Presidential Communications Office Hasan Nasbi stated that his party hopes that the target of 937 MBG kitchens can be achieved by the end of January 2025, and by the end of 2025 with a target of 5,000 MBG kitchens able to serve up to 20 million beneficiaries, starting from PAUD-SMA level students, toddlers, mothers pregnant, to breastfeeding mothers.

A total of 190 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) or MBG Kitchens are ready to operate, spread across 26 provinces starting from Aceh, Bali, West Sumatra, North Sumatra, Riau Islands, Riau, Lampung, Banten, West Java, Jakarta, Central Java, Java East, DI Yogyakarta, and Gorontalo.
Then, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Maluku, North Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, to West Papua and South Papua.
