Lime Honey Tea Recipe, Warm and Fresh Drink Idea


KOMPAS.com – Tea mixed with lemon may sound ordinary. How about lime mixed tea?

The taste of this tea is not only refreshingly sour, but also sweet thanks to the honey added when served in the serving cup.

Here’s the recipe and how to make lime honey tea, from the book “Appetizing Warm Drink” by Kristiyani Puspitarti (2019) published by CV Kompetensi Sinergi Pustaka.

Material:

  • 2 tablespoons black tea or 2 tea bags
  • 2 limes (squeeze the juice)
  • 750 milliliters of water
  • 100 milliliters of honey
  1. Heat water in a pan until it boils, add black tea or tea bags. Pour in the lime juice and let it sit for a few moments until it turns brown. Remove, then strain.
  2. Pour the tea and lime mixture into a serving cup, add honey to make it sweet.
