In Lombok, Samsaka Group collaborates with Lombok Epicentrum Mall. Accommodating legendary and authentic culinary artists from all over the archipelago to present typical dishes that have existed for decades.

“This festival was attended by more than 40 legendary tenants from all over Indonesia,” added Febriyanto.

Several legendary culinary artists participated in this festival including, Klepon Gianyar 1980, Gudeg Yu Djum 1950 Yogyakarta, Nasi Krawu Buk Tiban 1979 Gresik, Nasi Ayam Semarang Bu Noto, Bolosego Yogyakarta, Wingko Babat Kelapa Hijau 1918, Soto Betawi H Agus Barito, Es Puter Conglik 1970 Semarang, and other authentic and legendary culinary delights.

“The original ones here (NTB) are Sate Rembiga Ina Sinnaseh and Ayam Taliwang H Moerad 1967, we also often take these outside Lombok to participate in culinary festivals,” explained Febriyanto.

Febriyanto explained that Jiiscomm is the largest F&B (food and beverage) operator with more than 12 years of experience managing Indonesian culinary events. Through this event, Febri wants to invite visitors to participate in various interactive activities that educate about the richness of Indonesian culinary culture.

“The Tjap Legende Lombok Culinary Festival Roadshow is not just about food, but also about celebrating Indonesia’s cultural diversity and appreciating its rich culinary heritage,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, Lombok Epicentrum Mall Marketing Manager Evalina Maharani Siregar said this was LEM’s first collaboration with Jiiscomm to present culinary delights from outside NTB. The tenants presented are culinary delights that are rarely found in NTB.

“We want to introduce Indonesia’s rich culinary culture, as well as provide entertainment and experience to consumers, that culinary is not just this and that,” he said, Thursday (14/11/2024).

Lombok itself has culinary delights with unique local flavors. Through this festival, Evalina hopes to provide an opportunity for the people of Lombok to learn more about culinary riches from all corners of Indonesia.

“There are dine-in and take away options. If you want to enjoy the moment, we provide an area, but we ask consumers to self-service, namely throwing away rubbish in the right place after eating,” said Evalina.

Seeing the enthusiasm of visitors to the Tjap Legende Festival, Eva is confident that visits will increase by at least 30 percent every day. This could be seen from the first day of the event, visitors started flocking to the tenants at 10.00 WITA.

“I don’t know about weekends, it will definitely be even busier. This collaboration will not end here, next year it will be held again, so just wait and see what culinary delights are brought. We really made this for NTB,” he concluded.
